This trip is a unique package, blending deep powder skiing with a rich cultural experience. For 2-4 nights you will be staying in the sleepy, coastal village of Shimamaki, a two hour drive Southwest of Niseko.
Touring

Heli Skiing
Hokkaido Backcountry Club was voted world's best Heli Ski Operator in 2016. HBC is the only Hokkaido heli skiing club, and the only club in Japan to combine both helicopter and cat skiing for members.

Lodging
Our sister company Black Diamond Lodge is located at the base of the Niseko Higashiyama ski area. With the lifts only a couple hundred meters away and everything you could ask for at your fingertips the lodge makes a great place to spend your ski vacation.
We have a selection of twin and dorm rooms in both Western and Japanese style. On the first floor you’ll find the BD Cafe and bar equipped with a pool table, internet service, music and great food. Other service include a tuning room, laundry facilities, and onsen shuttles.
